From Classroom to Campground
This platform officially began as an academic project for the EN380 course at Illinois College. What started as a specific classroom assignment quickly evolved into a true passion project. The goal was simple: create an authentic, reliable space to document real-world travels, review destinations, and break down the unique logistics of life on the road.
As our vision for the site grew, so did the drive to take it to a professional level. To transform The Camper: A Guide to Full-Time RV Living & Travel into a highly polished, functional resource for the community, I continued my education in the Graphic Information Technology program at Arizona State University.
Our Next Chapter
While our passion for this lifestyle never faded, life threw some unexpected twists our way. Due to forces completely beyond our control, we had to unexpectedly leave the RV life and pause our journey.
Our traveling days may be behind us now, but our mission hasn’t changed. We are finally settled, back online, and deeply committed to supporting the RV community. We want this space to be a reliable source of information, practical advice, and daily inspiration for fellow travelers. More than anything, we are excited to interact, hear your stories, and stay connected to the community that shares our love for life on the move.
